Through the installation of state-of-the-art lighting controls, boiler plant renovations and VFD (variable-frequency drives), we saved Framingham State University $650,000 per year in energy costs. These energy conservation measures are projected to pay for themselves in less than 10 years and will prevent the emission of 2,266 metric tons of CO2 per year.
